Job Summary
Senior Sales Arborist responsible for new business development, relationship management, and applying arboriculture expertise to drive growth in the Chicagoland area. Develop proposals and estimates for tree and plant health evaluations, maintain and expand client relationships, leverage industry knowledge to provide science-backed insights, design and execute sales strategies, collaborate with production and operations to ensure project quality, and use technology and community outreach to generate leads.
Required Qualifications
- Sales Experience: Proven track record in relationship-based consultative sales; experience in the Arbor industry is preferred but not required.
- Business Acumen: Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a field-based environment while maintaining high personal accountability.
- Communication: Exceptional professional communication skills and a dedicated focus on the customer experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with tree health care services, including maintenance and plant health evaluations, is an advantage.
- Education & Certification: A degree in Arboriculture, Horticulture, or Environmental Science is preferred; ISA Certification is considered a significant plus.
