Job Summary
Coordinate and implement the field safety program for routine construction projects. Conduct regular walk-through inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with laws and company policies; conduct safety audits and identify/advise on abatement of hazardous conditions; document findings using internal safety management systems; oversee new hire orientation and drug/alcohol policy compliance; monitor subcontractors’ safety programs; participate in project meetings to discuss safety matters; chair and support project safety committees; assist in accident investigations and determine root causes with recommendations to prevent recurrence; coordinate with injured workers to ensure timely treatment and return to work; manage site safety incentive programs; provide guidance and training on safety topics; support insurance audits; oversee complex projects and training initiatives; monitor safety metrics and drive improvements; ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company safety regulations; leverage safety software and MS Office tools; ability to communicate effectively and build relationships within teams; require a Bachelor's degree in safety/health or equivalent experience and 5+ years of construction safety experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years construction safety experience (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in a safety and health-related field (Preferred)
