Job Summary
As a Senior Safety Professional at Disney, you will drive the identification, assessment, analysis, and resolution of a broad spectrum of safety issues across a diverse group of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts businesses. You will lead and/or participate in incident investigations and follow-ups, analyze injury and illness trend data, implement safety initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve safety performance. You will manage relationships within a matrix environment across all leadership levels, collaborate with local partners to ensure consistency, contribute to industrial hygiene monitoring and ergonomic assessments, and deploy analytics to drive continuous safety improvements while ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Occupational Health or related field
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation
- 5+ years of project management experience within occupational safety, risk management, or a related environment
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards
- Experience with strategic thinking, prioritization, and initiation of tasks
- Experience with proper writing, speaking, and presenting to all levels
