Job Summary
Partner with clients and prospects to identify industrial health and safety needs, developing proposals with clear work scopes and cost estimates. Plan, organize, and manage industrial health and safety projects, assigning technical resources and providing QA/QC on deliverables. Conduct health and safety audits across client sites and develop tools, training, and programs to meet client needs and improve project execution. Train, mentor, and develop mid-level and entry-level staff while delivering training on industrial health and safety protocols and emergency response procedures. Stay current on industry trends and OSHA regulatory changes. This established consulting firm specializes in technical depth and hands-on problem solving for manufacturing and industrial clients, with a genuine investment in developing talent at every level.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Health, Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- CSP certification
- Five to ten years of progressive industrial safety experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across technical and client-facing conversations
- Ability to read and interpret reports, blueprints, inspection documents, diagrams, specifications, codes, and architectural drawings
Desired Qualifications
- CIH certification
- Experience or knowledge in the environmental field
