Job Summary
Drive safety culture by developing and publishing environmental programs consistent with regulations and company policy. Conduct job hazard and ergonomic analyses to identify loss potential, while reviewing loss data to recommend corrective actions. Deliver training to associates, managers, and contractors on general safety, specific program requirements, and job-specific protocols. Assist with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 program maintenance and certification, including audit implementation and accident investigations to develop preventive measures. Coordinate emergency responses and organize location inspections to ensure regulatory compliance under OSHA, EPA, and DOT. Maintain required records and revise location standards to align with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year college degree preferably with a focus on Safety, Health and Environment
- 5+ years of practical experience in Safety and Environmental in a manufacturing environment
- Clear and effective communication skills with ability to present to others
- Self-motivated, confident professional that wants to join a team environment in a company that pursues a strong safety and sustainable development culture
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
