Job Summary
Senior Safety Engineer responsible for supporting Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) across project sites. Duties include conducting audits and inspections, incident investigations with root-cause analyses, risk assessments, and safety training; preparing and submitting audit/inspection reports and safety performance reviews; leading incident investigations, developing corrective/preventive actions, and promoting a positive safety culture. Requires delivering toolbox talks, onboarding programs, regulatory inspections representation, and collaboration with project teams to drive continuous improvement in safety practices across infrastructure/construction projects. Suitable for someone with 6–10+ years in HSE/SH&E, strong knowledge of ANSI/NFPA and other safety standards, and proven ability to work in multicultural project environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 6–10+ years of professional Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE/SH&E) experience
- Advanced knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and reporting requirements
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments
- Proficiency with safety management systems and MS Office
