Job Summary
The Senior Safety and Risk Management Consultant is responsible for providing expert safety, risk, and loss control consultation services to clients, focusing on developing tailored safety programs and implementing risk mitigation strategies. This role requires advanced expertise in safety principles, regulatory compliance, and the ability to independently evaluate workplace hazards. The Consultant will perform onsite assessments, lead safety training, mentor junior staff, and engage with senior management to foster safety improvements. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for building relationships with stakeholders and delivering exceptional client service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum safety designation such as COSS, COHST, ARM, CRM
- Minimum 7 years as a loss control consultant
- Active membership in a professional safety organization
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to conduct risk evaluations to determine loss potential
- Clear understanding of existing safety programs and their compliance
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to develop and deliver training programs
- Proficiency in MS Office and research tools including AI
