Job Summary
Senior SaaS Platform Engineer at CapTech to act as a senior technical owner for a portfolio of SaaS and select on-premises platforms, driving automation, security, scalability, and user experience improvements across the enterprise application ecosystem. You will evaluate, pilot, and implement AI-enabled tools; design and manage configurations, integrations, and access models; lead automation initiatives (PowerShell, APIs, workflows) for provisioning, access management, audits, and operations; serve as SME for Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, Copilot); design and manage SSO using SAML and OIDC; enforce least-privilege governance with IT Security; shape ITIL-aligned change management; analyze trends and usage to inform roadmaps; mentor junior engineers; and collaborate with IT Operations, InfoSec, and business teams. Requirements include 5+ years in complex cloud-based SaaS environments, deep experience with M365 suite, Azure, AWS, GCP, GitHub, Jira/Confluence, Snowflake, Databricks, strong PowerShell, cross-OS CLI fluency, and ability to document and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years supporting and administering complex cloud-based SaaS environments in professional or enterprise settings
- Advanced experience administering: Microsoft 365 (including Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, and Copilot), Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform
- GitHub (source control, automation workflows, CI/CD enablement)
- Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Snowflake (platform administration)
- Databricks (platform administration)
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills
- Comfort working in macOS and Windows CLI environments
- Deep understanding of identity, authentication, and authorization models
- Proven ability to gather requirements, author clear documentation, and translate business needs into workable technical solutions
