Job Summary
Design and develop new features using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and hotwire while upgrading, stabilizing, and optimizing the existing codebase. Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs to improve system stability and scalability. Create front-end components with full-stack knowledge, leveraging test-driven development and regression testing. Work within a cross-functional team to maintain scheduled and event-driven jobs, ensuring clean, organized code that meets Tyfoom's growing customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years of Full-Time Work Experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with test-driven development in addition to regression and feature testing
- MVC Experience
- GitHub
- Security with Devise
- ActiveRecord
Desired Qualifications
- Rails stabilization and optimization
- Server Ops (direct with AWS or via managed service)
- Documentation with Postman
- PostgreSQL query and schema optimization - content and performance DBA
- Full-stack competence - backend models and databases
