Senior ROV Pilot Technician

Job Summary
Operate and maintain ROV systems in accordance with established procedures and standards while performing assigned tasks under the direction of the Operational ROV Supervisor. Conduct proper performance of all operational, maintenance, repair, and preparation duties, ensuring adherence to internal and external Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment requirements. Complete familiarization and debriefing sessions prior to mobilization and demobilization, and participate in projects requiring separate functional descriptions. This role requires 5-7 years of experience with work class ROV systems and post-secondary education in ROV, Electrical, Engineering Technology, or Mechanic. Candidates must possess strong technical knowledge of Oil and Gas industry standards, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication skills. Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years previous experience with work class ROV systems
- Post-secondary education with a primary focus in: ROV (Remote Operated Vehicles), Electrical, Engineering Technology, or Mechanic
- Working knowledge of Technical Specifications and Standards within the Oil and Gas Industry
- Level of technical knowledge in computer and electronic interfacing
- Experience with technical testing and troubleshooting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Excellent communicator including language proficiency (reading/writing)
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Desired Qualifications
- Schilling/XLX experience considered an asset
