Job Summary
Lead complex geotechnical projects as a Senior Rock Mechanics Engineer at AtkinsRéalis, where you will mentor junior staff and contribute to strategic proposals in infrastructure geotechnics.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineering License (P.Eng) in Ontario or eligibility to obtain
- Proven experience in rock mechanics design and rock mass characterization
- Expertise in rock mechanics and rock engineering projects dealing with rock face stability, tunneling and underground excavations in rock, foundations, and rockfall hazards
- Valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
- Strong project management and client relationship skills
- Expertise in sectors such as highways, rail, municipal, industrial, commercial, or residential geotechnics

- Eligibility to obtain Professional Engineering License in Ontario
