Job Summary
Senior Robotics Solutions Engineer based in Santa Clara, CA or Houston, TX, contributes to the Technical Field Service team as a seasoned individual contributor. Designs core plans for projects, programs, or processes across the Technical Field Service area; establishes cost-effective, results-based policies and procedures; recommends hardware and peripheral equipment to meet customer requirements; performs system setup, movement, maintenance, repair, and de-installation; analyzes data logs to troubleshoot and resolve issues; leads the RSE Service Team in technical and non-technical activities to maintain fleet uptime; engages in continuous learning and process improvements; ensures safety and compliance in manufacturing environments; collaborates with Systems Engineering, Product Support, Quality, and cross-functional teams; travel up to 50% to customer sites; prepares documentation and status updates for senior management; and supports MTTR improvements and system uptime objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in the capital medical technology industry
- Experience with software, mechanical electrical mechanisms and robotic technology
- Written and oral presentation skills in English
- Ability to work effectively in a group/team environment
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50%
- Experience planning and conducting activities related to developing and executing new processes
- Strong MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with coworkers and teams
- Experience in data log analysis and MTTR improvements
- Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment with adherence to safety requirements
