Job Summary
Senior Robotics Solutions Engineer responsible for leading the Technical Field Service team activities with minimal supervision. Designs and implements cost-effective, results-based plans; sets up and troubleshoots complex robotics systems; analyzes data logs to troubleshoot issues; mentors junior colleagues; interfaces with Systems Engineering, Product Support, Quality, and cross-functional teams to improve system uptime and MTTR. Responsibilities include system setup, movement, maintenance, repair, and de-installation; data-log analysis; leading the RSE Service Team; documenting tasks and metrics; ensuring safe, robust service solutions through engineering methods and ECO processes; driving continuous process improvements; staying current with robotics technology; and communicating status and strategic goals to senior management. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field, 4-6 years in capital medical technology, experience with software/hardware/robotic systems, ability to work in a regulated medical environment, strong communication and collaboration skills, and willingness to travel up to 50%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in capital medical technology industry
- Experience with software, mechanical-electrical mechanisms and robotics technology
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong project management and process-improvement capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Written and oral presentation skills; fluent in English
- Domestic travel up to 50%
- Ability to work in a regulated medical environment
- Ability to safely work in a manufacturing setting
