Senior Roadway Engineer or Roadway Engineering Project Manager

Senior Roadway Engineer or Roadway Engineering Project Manager needed to support Virginia roadway design services. Responsibilities include project design, task management, client contact, QA, development of roadway construction documents (plans, profiles, typical sections, maintenance of traffic plans), cost estimating, preparing reports/studies, attending public meetings, and directing others in roadway design per AASHTO/VDOT/local standards. Coordination with contractors, utility companies, and government agencies is required. This is a hybrid role with three onsite days per week in ATCS offices, with candidate options in Hampton Roads (Virginia Beach or Newport News) or Glen Allen, VA. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, minimum 6 years of roadway design experience (Virginia preferred), and a VA PE license is preferred. Proficiency in MicroStation ORD and AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with AASHTO/VDOT standards is expected.
