Senior Roadway Designer

Job Summary
Lead a project team to complete roadway design and analysis, providing technical guidance to less experienced staff. Manage plan production for roadway and intersection projects using Civil 3D and Open Roads Designer, while coordinating multi-discipline inputs and ensuring deliverables meet agency standards and project schedules. Perform QA/QC reviews, support resolution of design comments, and prepare estimates, budgets, and construction schedules. Mentor designers, coordinate workload, and lead computations, plan designs, and drawings from concept through final design. Requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 4-8 years of roadway design experience with strong Civil 3D and ORD proficiency. Full-time position in Bloomsburg, PA, Northumberland, PA, Harrisburg, PA, or Montoursville, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering Technology (or related)
- 4-8+ years of roadway/transportation design and plan production experience
- Strong proficiency with CIVIL 3D and OpenRoads Designer (ORD)
- Working knowledge of DOT/municipal standards and PS&E deliverables
- Strong communication and ability to lead/mentor production staff
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Travel to other offices as needed
