Job Summary
Senior Relationship Manager for Broadband Infrastructure at Farmer Mac leading the deal process from sourcing opportunities through closing in collaboration with Credit Underwriting, Transaction Management, and external advisors. Manage a portfolio of borrowers, source new loan opportunities, and develop relationships with lenders and investors in the broadband infrastructure, data center, and ancillary sectors. Requires deep knowledge of leveraged lending, cash flow/credit analysis, financial statements, and experience in corporate lending; Bachelor's degree required and 10+ years of relevant experience. Role emphasizes proactive deal leadership, cross-functional collaboration, market/industry knowledge, and ability to work in a distributed remote environment with preferred proximity to Washington, DC; travel and cross-functional coordination as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field
- At least 10 years of directly relevant professional experience in cash flow/leveraged lending
- Credit underwriting experience in corporate lending
- Experience leading loan transactions: developing and engaging deal sources, assessing transaction viability, closing
