Senior Risk Manager - Data Center Construction

Job Summary
Maintain visibility of threat and opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget, or retirement of threats. Monitor overall risk exposure, assess remaining risk budget, and conduct quantitative risk assessments for cost and schedule to inform project contingency levels. Work with contractors to assess held risks, produce risk reports, and lead comprehensive schedule and cost-effective risk assessment processes. Create risk management plans, conduct regular risk reviews, and establish integration within the program and project controls team. Manage construction stage contract and claims, including contractual claim assessments, dispute resolution advice, change management, and final account settlements. Evaluate delay recovery measures and supervise measurement and valuation of completed works.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction
- Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience
- Relevant construction project procurement and contract management experience
- Demonstrated experience within a Program Management or Program Controls environment
- Deep knowledge and experience with risk identification, facilitation and techniques
- Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
- In-depth understanding of construction contracts, commercial models, and delivery methods
- Proficient in process mapping, root causes analysis, problem solving, and value-stream mapping
- Familiarity with web-based database tools – ARM, Predict, Tableau
- Highly self-motivated, analytical, and customer centric
- Excellent communication skills
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable
- On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our clients' needs
