Senior Risk Manager - Construction

Job Summary
Maintain visibility of threat and opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, budget drawdown, or retirement. Monitor overall risk exposure, assess remaining risk budgets, and conduct quantitative risk assessments for cost and schedule to inform project contingency levels. Produce timely risk reports to communicate status and lead comprehensive schedule and cost-effective risk assessment processes. Undertake end-to-end project risk management, including creating risk management plans, conducting regular reviews, and determining response plans. Lead contract and claims management, carry out contractual claim assessments, and provide strategic advice on disputes. Supervise measurement and valuation of completed works, manage final account settlements, and evaluate delay recovery measures. Collaborate with program and project control teams to eliminate redundancies and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction
- Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience
- Relevant construction project procurement and contract management experience
- Demonstrated experience within a Program Management or Program Controls environment
- Deep knowledge and experience with risk identification, facilitation and techniques
- Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
- In-depth understanding of construction contracts, commercial models, and delivery methods
- Proficient in process mapping, root causes analysis, problem solving, and value-stream mapping
- Familiarity with web-based database tools – ARM, Predict, Tableau
- Highly self-motivated, analytical, and customer centric
- Excellent communication skills
