Senior Risk Management Specialist (f/m/x)

Job Summary
Own the identification, assessment, and documentation of risks across operational, non-financial, and financial domains including ICAAP and ILAAP. Drive risk assessments, control testing, and issue remediation tracking with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance teams to strengthen controls and follow through on corrective actions. Maintain and improve the internal control framework, risk register, and operational risk procedures while drafting requirements for process improvements and automation initiatives. Collaborate with auditors and supervisory stakeholders on evidence gathering, incident analysis, and root-cause identification to ensure the organization remains audit-ready. Work across functions to translate regulatory requirements into practical, tech-enabled solutions that reduce manual work and improve decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- strong hands-on experience in Risk Management within FinTech, banking, audit, consulting, or a similarly regulated environment
- broad exposure across multiple risk domains
- solid knowledge of operational and non-financial risk
- solid knowledge of internal controls
- solid knowledge of risk governance
- solid knowledge of risk assessments
- good understanding of financial risk topics such as credit, market, liquidity, ICAAP, and ILAAP
- familiarity with the relevant regulatory foundations, including MaRisk, DORA, CRR, IFR, and applicable EBA and ESMA guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- knowledge of MiFID, MaComp, and WpHG
