Senior Risk Management Analyst

Job Summary
Collect, validate, and analyze loss, claims, and exposure data from internal and external sources to support risk financing, actuarial analyses, and insurance renewals. Prepare quarterly actuarial data submissions, loss triangles, and recommendations for loss control, premium allocation, and claims mitigation. Evaluate loss trends, identify root causes, and develop strategies to improve loss performance while working with insurance carriers, brokers, and actuaries. Assist with captive insurance financial statements, cash flow projections, and general ledger reconciliations. Prepare reinsurance billings, carrier loss runs, and renewal submissions to monitor policy and aggregate erosion. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Risk Management and 4 to 7 years of experience in risk management, insurance, or actuarial support.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, Business, or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years' experience in risk management, insurance, risk finance, actuarial support or finance-related positions
- Knowledge of principles of risk management, property and casualty insurance, actuarial science, insurance industry practices, and accounting
- Experience working with captive insurance companies or risk retention groups
- Experience supporting actuarial analysis, reserve studies, or insurance renewals
- Knowledge of insurance policy language and contracts
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with various levels of management and external business partners
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
