Job Summary
Senior Risk Compliance Officer responsible for conducting complex confidential investigations into money laundering and financial crimes, with deep knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC regulations. Responsibilities include monitoring client relationships, performing due diligence and enhanced due diligence, analyzing large transaction data to detect suspicious activity, determining appropriate actions, documenting investigative findings for management review, providing risk rating recommendations, onboarding review for prospect clients, supporting complex clientele processes, training associates, and assisting in exams/audits by federal regulators, state examiners, auditors, and law enforcement. The role requires proactive urgency, adherence to deadlines, and ensuring accuracy and quality, with potential participation in trainings and leadership support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5–10 years of financial institution experience
- 5–10 years of BSA/AML experience
- Knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC regulations
- Ability to perform complex confidential investigations and data analysis
- Ability to prepare cases for management review and assist with audits/exams
- Experience with client due diligence and enhanced due diligence
- Experience in risk rating and onboarding review
