Job Summary
Senior Risk Analyst – Contractor in Corpay's North American Fuel Division. You will proactively monitor credit and fraud trends, close detection gaps, and apply advanced analytics to inform strategic decisions. Responsibilities include identifying segments to approve more credit-worthy customers with lower fraud risk, building automated reporting solutions with MIS/Reporting, collaborating with Operations, Credit, Sales and PMO, and maintaining real-time policy scripts to validate decision accuracy. Required skills include SQL and Python, SAS, modeling, experience in credit underwriting for small business segments, data-driven proposals, and strong communication and presentation abilities. This is a remote, contractor role with virtual workspace provisions and training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of credit experience in underwriting and designing strategies for Small Business Segments
- Experience in building risk strategies for unsecured credit / lending, preferably in near-prime, new-to-credit and thin file segments
- Proficiency in using SQL and Python programming languages
- Proficiency in using Excel pivots / Spreadsheet and PowerPoint / Slides
- Proficiency in using Reporting tools like Tableau and Google Analytics
- Excellent communications and presentation skills; ability to deliver business proposals and present results to senior management
- Ability to collaborate well with business partners and influence business decisions
- Master’s degree in quantitative discipline such as engineering, statistics, math, economics, computer science, is a plus
