Job Summary
Own annual and mid-term insurance renewal data collection, including timelines, documentation, underwriting submissions, exposure schedules, and status reporting. Develop standardized renewal workflows that define data owners, source systems, validation steps, approval checkpoints, and escalation paths. Establish and maintain risk-data quality standards for property values, equipment inventories, fleet schedules, certificates, underwriting materials, claims data, and operational risk inputs. Collect, validate, reconcile, and explain data from financial records, asset systems, claims/loss data, audits, and operational systems. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and renewal-readiness summaries using RMIS, Power BI, Excel, or Tableau to provide leadership visibility into exposure trends, renewal status, claims/loss trends, insurance program performance, cost drivers, and data-quality issues. Translate analytics into operational and financial insights, including potential impacts to premiums, deductibles, retentions, coverage strategy, and risk-reduction priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or related field
- Six or more years of progressive experience in risk management, insurance, risk analytics, renewal coordination, risk finance, or related operational risk roles
- Experience supporting property and casualty renewals, underwriting submissions, exposure schedules, certificates, policy records, claims/loss data, or broker/carrier coordination
- Proficiency with Excel
- Experience with RMIS, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar platforms
- ARM, CRM, CPCU, CRIS, PMP, Six Sigma, or similar credential
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data, identify trends, reconcile discrepancies, and convert findings into practical recommendations
- Experience developing dashboards, management reports, renewal-readiness summaries, and executive-level risk updates
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with Accounting, EHS, Operations, Legal/Contracts, brokers, carriers, TPAs, vendors, and senior leaders
- Strong working knowledge of property and casualty insurance, renewal submissions, underwriting data, exposure schedules, policy documentation, certificates, endorsements, and loss reporting
