Job Summary
Negotiate and acquire property and easements for public and private projects while supporting various project managers and collaborating with team members. Maintain strong communication and organizational skills to write findings clearly, deliver oral presentations, and meet client deadlines with a high sense of urgency. Work independently as a detail-oriented team player with critical thinking and analytical abilities, utilizing advanced Microsoft Office proficiency. Located in Baltimore, MD, this role requires 6+ years of experience in the right of way space, with prior DOT or public roadway project experience desirable.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in the right of way space
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to write and communicate findings clearly
- Demonstrated experience in oral presentations and public speaking
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with the Department of Transportation (DOT) or public roadway projects specific to the state where the position is located
