Job Summary

Conduct title research, prepare abstracts, and review engineering maps, construction plans, and property descriptions for compliance and accuracy. Execute turnkey right of way acquisition services by coordinating surveyors and appraisers, managing negotiations, and drafting agreements such as sales, easements, and mortgage releases. Serve as the point of contact for clients and stakeholders while producing status reports and meeting notes. Implement quality control measures through oversight of completed work products and assign delegated tasks to team members. Manage daily timesheets, adhere to project budgets, and work within client specifications based on varying regulatory requirements. Based in the Greater New Orleans Area with remote work options and regional travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of professional experience in a related field such as land management, planning, or law
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Desire to grow in all disciplines within the right of way industry and embrace CCG's technology and tools for managing the land acquisition process
  • Ability to maintain daily timesheets with notes of services provided and to adhere to project budgets
  • Strong technical skills and experience utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures governing public projects
  • Experience working in a GIS platform
  • Understanding of curative title requirements
  • Knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Act
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Travel to the CCG office in Metairie is required depending on project needs
  • Regular travel for project related meetings across the region, including the New Orleans and Baton Rouge metropolitan areas and Southwest Louisiana
