Job Summary
Senior Right of Way Agent responsible for managing the full lifecycle of public-right-of-way projects in the Greater New Orleans area, including title research, abstracts, negotiations, closings, drafting sales and easement documents, coordinating with surveyors and appraisers, client/stakeholder communications, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and budgets; requires strong communication, analytical skills, and proficiency in GIS and Microsoft Office; remote work option available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of professional experience in a related field such as land management, planning, or law
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills and a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Desire to grow in all disciplines within the right of way industry and embrace CCG’s technology and tools for managing the land acquisition process
- Ability to maintain daily timesheets with notes of services provided and to adhere to project budgets
- Strong technical skills and experience utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures governing public projects
- Experience working in a GIS platform
- Understanding of curative title requirements
- Knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Act
