Job Summary
Conduct radar mode engineering testing, integration, and flight testing for maritime radar systems. Design and develop radar capabilities, including signal processing and waveform analyses, while building mathematical algorithms for radar signal processing. Analyze radar test and flight data to evaluate algorithm performance and make performance predictions. Execute design and development of radar receiver architectures and mode designs, ensuring systems operate flawlessly from first power-on through delivery. Interface with engineering teams across hardware, software, and firmware disciplines to integrate system components and verify requirements.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Active and existing security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Radar Systems Engineering and Algorithm Development
- Experience with Radar Systems
- Experience with Software Engineering
- Experience with Radar Signal Processing Techniques
- Experience with Mathematical/Radar Mode Algorithm Development
- Experience with Analytic Techniques
- Experience with Digital Simulation Models (DSM)
- Design and analyze Radar Receiver Architectures
- Design and analyze Radar Mode Designs
- Embedded GPS/INS (EGI) Systems
- MATLAB
- C or C++ (coding experience required)
Desired Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance with investigation within five years
- Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
