Job Summary
Lead conceptualization, design, and prototyping of electrical systems and components, including radar, radiation detection, analog/digital circuits, and radio systems. Conduct lab-based experiments to evaluate electronic circuits, antennas, and signal integrity while overseeing end-to-end project processes across multiple technical domains. Develop solutions for complex RF challenges by applying advanced engineering principles to push boundaries in radar and communication systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to influence technical decisions, communicate with stakeholders, and establish partnerships with vendors for manufacturing and delivery. Design and test RF systems in real-world simulation environments to ensure field adaptability and robustness. Full-time position located at MacDill AFB, FL or Ft. Belvoir, VA, contingent upon contract award.
Required Qualifications
- US citizen
- Active Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Strong expertise in RF engineering, spectrum management, signal processing, and sensor systems
- Hands-on experience with sensors, radar, communications systems, and electronic warfare platforms
- Proficiency in signal processing software and languages and experience with AI/ML applied to sensor data
- Familiarity with multi-domain operational concepts, situational awareness systems, and DoD sensor architectures
- Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, lead technical efforts, and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders
- Available for MacDill AFB, FL or Ft. Belvoir, VA
- Available for travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance
- Certified RF Specialist (CRFS)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Strong understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts with the ability to apply them across a range of programs
- Proven hands-on experience in signal processing with a record developing and analyzing systems for sensor data extraction and processing
- Technical proficiency in signal processing software and languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++
- Expertise in multi-domain operations technologies such as AI-driven signal processing, machine learning for classification, or sensor fusion methodologies
- Familiarity with platforms and frameworks integral to multi-domain systems such as satellite communications, UAV sensors, or secure digital communications
- Ability to resolve highly complex problems using advanced technical knowledge and reasoning
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership and stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership experience including managing and mentoring technical teams
- Proven ability to address complex technical problems through innovative approaches and creative solutions aligned with military objectives
