Job Summary
Lead and mentor engineers in the design, construction, and testing of millimeter wave and microwave components for plasma heating systems. Oversee multiple RF projects ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery while serving as a technical advisor on system architecture and fusion absorption. Manage client relationships as the primary point of contact for technical communications and ensure compliance with industry standards. Drive innovation across multidisciplinary teams within the FusionDirect development program, which pursues a capital-efficient path to a fusion power plant.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in RF and microwave technology, with a focus on high-power systems
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects
- Strong background in millimeter wave component/system design, plasma heating, radar, or accelerator technologies
- Proven track record in business development, proposal writing, and strategic planning
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship skills
- Experience working with both domestic and international clients
