Senior RF/Analog Analysis and Characterization Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct Pre/Post silicone activities for RF, Analog, and PHY system circuit blocks to meet functional and performance specifications. Find problems during the Pre-Silicone phase, bring up the chip in the lab, and debug issues regarding blocks and the system. Implement RF/Analog Driver definitions and fixes while optimizing silicone system performance. Define evaluation methods for blocks and systems, including how key parameters will be tested and correlated. Support design with mitigating issues and analyze data statistics to provide formal data sheet parameters. Develop automation and tooling for analysis, debugging, and data collection, and maintain full documentation of block and system-level results.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced in RF/Analog System design or Chip design (>3+ years)
- Highly Experienced with RF/Analog testing equipment and working in the lab
- Experience with debugging and solving complex silicone issues
- Ability to propose innovative and leading edge solutions
- Highly proficient in English language, written and spoken
- Must have good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to convince others based on technical knowledge and shows assertiveness to inform superiors/peers
- Team player with a positive attitude who drives, develops and tutors colleagues within own discipline
- Ability to set and meet goals and deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Experienced with Cadence Virtuoso (Schematics and Layout) - Advantage
- Python
- Strong external focus, full awareness of competitive edge solutions
- Master or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
