Job Summary

Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing development of compensation programmes across the United States and Canada for legal professionals and business services employees. Provide expert advice on salary structures, job architecture, and incentive design while leading the annual compensation review process, including planning, modelling, and executive reporting. Oversee benefits and retirement programmes, ensuring governance, market competitiveness, and alignment with employee wellbeing objectives through annual reviews and vendor partnerships. Partner with the global reward team to deliver strategic initiatives, improve reward governance, and drive consistency across regions while maintaining compliance with applicable legislation.

Required Qualifications

  • Significant experience in compensation and reward management
  • Substantial experience operating in a senior reward role within a complex, matrixed organisation
  • Deep expertise in compensation strategy
  • Deep expertise in market benchmarking
  • Deep expertise in salary structures
  • Deep expertise in job architecture
  • Deep expertise in annual compensation review processes
  • Strong knowledge of North American compensation practices
  • Strong knowledge of North American legislation
  • Strong knowledge of North American reward market trends
  • Experience designing and modelling compensation programmes
  • Experience designing and modelling incentive plans
  • Experience designing and modelling reward scenarios
  • Exposure to benefits and retirement programme governance
