Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end monthly open and close process in Zuora Revenue (RevPro), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit-readiness. Oversee integration and posting of revenue-related journal entries into the GL, while reviewing and maintaining key balance sheet reconciliations for deferred revenue, contract assets, and unbilled AR. Provide ad-hoc technical accounting analysis on complex ASC 606 transactions and serve as a senior mentor to the revenue accounting team. Continuously improve close procedures and internal controls to maintain compliance. This hands-on role requires deep technical accounting roots and operational discipline to run a clean, repeatable close. The position offers a hybrid schedule with flexible remote work options and an annualized base salary range of $182,000-$272,000.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in revenue recognition or technical accounting
- mix of Big 4 audit and operational industry experience
- CPA
- Hands-on experience managing period close in Zuora Revenue (RevPro)
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 606
- This role must attend our local office for part of the week
Desired Qualifications
- SaaS industry experience
- Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP
- Prior experience managing or mentoring accounting staff
