Job Summary
Senior Revenue Analyst role at RingCentral in Bengaluru focusing on ownership of all accounting aspects of revenue recognition under ASC606, design/implementation of revenue processes, and coordination with Sales, Legal, Operations, and deal desk. Responsibilities include evaluating contracts for revenue recognition, providing technical accounting guidance, supporting audits, partnering with FP&A for revenue-related pricing models, improving internal controls over revenue, and aiding in month-end/quarter-end close and related reporting. Requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, CA/CPA experience preferred, 5+ years in a public company environment, and knowledge of GAAP revenue standards (ASC 605-25, SAB 104, ASC606). Familiarity with NetSuite and SFDC is a plus; strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CA/CPA (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in a public company environment
- Experience with GAAP multi-element revenue recognition including ASC 605-25, SAB 104, ASU 2009-13, ASU 2009-14
- Experience with ASC606/ERP System Implementation (a plus)
- Experience with SFDC and NetSuite (a plus)
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Experience reviewing licenses, SaaS, OEM, and Professional Services contracts for revenue recognition
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Legal, Operations)
