Job Summary
Senior Revenue Accountant to support the revenue accounting function in Los Angeles or Ventura, CA, focusing on revenue recognition (ASC 606), GAAP compliance, and maintaining internal controls for a public company. Responsibilities include month/quarter/year-end closes, journal entries, reconciliations, variance and ad hoc analyses, and collaboration with Credit & Collections, Deal Desk, FP&A, Billings, and Technical Accounting. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (CPA preferred), 2+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SOX controls and ERP systems (Oracle Cloud a plus). The role emphasizes timely, accurate reporting and audit readiness within a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 2+ years accounting experience
- Revenue Accounting (ASC 606) experience is a plus
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with SOX controls and audit processes
- Excel proficiency and ERP experience (Oracle Cloud a plus)
