Job Summary
Senior Revenue Accountant at Gong responsible for ASC 606 analyses, revenue contract reviews, monthly and quarterly close activities, revenue recognition documentation, and cross-functional support for revenue-related matters. Will prepare analyses, maintain support schedules, assist with audit requests, and contribute to process improvements. Partners with Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Billing & Collections, FP&A, Legal, IT Business Applications, and other teams to resolve revenue accounting matters and support accurate reporting. Requires working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration across teams. Salary range $91,000-$132,000 USD; remote-friendly with work-from-home stipend.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience including 1–2+ years of revenue accounting or ASC 606 experience
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
- Experience with NetSuite, NetSuite ARM, Salesforce, FloQast, or similar accounting/revenue systems
- Strong Excel and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional partners
- Public accounting or audit experience is a plus, but not required
