Senior Retention Campaign Manager

Job Summary

Own and maintain the localized Email and SMS campaign calendar, translating global strategies into market-specific executions. Develop campaign strategies, creative briefs, and execution plans for promotional, seasonal, lifecycle, loyalty, and ad hoc retention initiatives. Lead end-to-end campaign execution from planning through launch, coordinating deliverables across Creative, Copywriting, Marketing, CX, Legal, Analytics, eCommerce, and Technology teams. Manage campaign asset development and the end-to-end QA process, validating copy, grammar, links, imagery, and brand adherence prior to deployment. Partner with the retention team to support Lifecycle and Loyalty campaigns, including post-purchase, behavioral, and win-back initiatives. Coordinate A/B testing initiatives and monitor key retention KPIs to deliver actionable insights that inform future optimization. Leverage customer data to develop personalized campaigns and establish documentation workflows to improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in retention, CRM, email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or campaign management within an eCommerce or direct-to-consumer environment
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end marketing campaigns, including planning, cross-functional coordination, execution, quality assurance, reporting, and optimization
  • Strong understanding of Email and SMS marketing best practices, customer lifecycle marketing, and retention strategies
  • Experience managing campaign calendars, creative briefs, project timelines, and multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Copywriting, Analytics, Legal, Marketing, Product, and Technical teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Experience working with Email Service Providers (ESPs) and SMS marketing platforms
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation, audience targeting, campaign personalization, and lifecycle marketing concepts
  • Strong understanding of email quality assurance processes, rendering considerations, deliverability best practices, and testing platforms
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting campaign performance, A/B testing results, and customer insights to recommend optimization opportunities
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Asana, Microsoft Office, Figma, Dynamic Yield or Movable Ink, Narvar, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar project management and analytics tools
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, provide clear creative feedback, and build strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
