Senior Restoration Technician / Project Manager

Job Summary
Manage restoration projects from initial assessment through completion, conducting site inspections for water, fire, and mould damage while developing plans and delivering results. Lead, support, and mentor technicians on the ground, helping them solve field problems and maintain high standards for safety and workmanship. Complete desktop quotes, scopes, reports, and documentation, ensuring photographs and moisture readings are accurate. Build strong relationships with clients, builders, insurers, and industry partners to generate repeat business and represent NLR professionally at meetings and events. Monitor job progress, manage labour and equipment requirements, and follow up with clients throughout and after projects to strengthen accounts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum four years' hands-on experience in the restoration industry
- Relevant IICRC certifications — WRT
- Current White Card
- Current Blue Card, or ability to obtain one
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Strong knowledge of water damage restoration and structural drying
- Experience with mould remediation and complex restoration projects
- Experience preparing desktop quotes, scopes and reports
- Experience leading or supervising technicians
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Good computer and administration skills
- A willingness to remain hands-on in the field when required
