Job Summary
Senior Restaurant Accountant responsible for timely and accurate journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, detailed variance analysis, and maintaining a strong SOX/compliance control environment. Develops supporting schedules for internal and external auditors, contributes to process improvements and system implementations (ERP: Oracle Fusion; Blackline; use of AI tools for efficiency), and collaborates with peers and business partners to meet close and reporting deadlines. Will document processes, cross-train, and participate in departmental projects; preferred experience in consumer-based, multi-site operations such as restaurant/food & beverage. Compensation range: $54,940.00 - $77,310.63 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting in a public company environment
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong US GAAP knowledge
- ERP system experience (Oracle Fusion preferred)
- Blackline experience
- Excel proficiency
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience with SOX controls and internal control documentation
