Job Summary
Lead a team of Residential Child Care Workers as a shift leader, championing the care, safety, and development of children with complex needs. Support and implement care plans, education plans, and emotional wellbeing strategies while mentoring staff to promote high standards of practice. Contribute to safeguarding, inspections, and care planning processes within homes located in Burnley, Accrington, Nelson, and Haslingden. Operate on a rota basis including days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts. Provide a car for business use and attend weekly interviews. Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years' experience in children's social care or residential settings
- QCF Level 4 or NVQ Level 3/4 (or equivalent)
- Confidence leading shifts and supervising staff as a Team Leader
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's legislation
