Job Summary
Senior Resident Engineer (Infrastructure, Tunnel) based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, responsible for mobilizing project resources, acting as the client representative with stakeholders and subcontractors, negotiating scope changes, overseeing planning and execution documents (PDP, HSE, QA/QC), developing budgets and schedules, ensuring delivery targets, managing change orders, and leading technical and commercial excellence through QA processes. The role requires senior-level leadership, strong communication with clients and regulators, and the ability to supervise multi-discipline teams on large-scale roads, utilities, and tunnel projects with potential marine-related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 20 years of relevant engineering and construction management experience on large-scale roads and infrastructure programs, including tunnels (underwater), utilities, and preferably marine-related projects
- Minimum 5 years Abu Dhabi project experience
- Professional registration may be required
- Ability to manage projects, interface with clients and hands-on technical involvement
- Knowledge of industry standards; project management certification requirements
