Job Summary
Lead and oversee construction management activities for significant water and wastewater treatment plant projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and per quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, engineers, designers, and contractors to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain client satisfaction. Serve as the primary contact for clients, managing multiple infrastructure and treatment facility construction projects. Leverage business development experience to identify and secure new municipal opportunities in South Texas, develop compelling proposals, and drive revenue growth. Maintain industry knowledge of regulations and best practices while fostering a collaborative team culture. Requires 15 years of experience in large-scale water and wastewater treatment plant construction, including UV, RO, or membrane filtration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management of large-scale water and wastewater treatment plant projects for municipal or federal clients
- Experience building an Ultraviolet treatment (UV) or Reverse Osmosis (RO) or a Membrane Filtration Treatment plant as an owners representative or construction manager
- Strong understanding of construction regulations, industry standards, and best practices within the water and wastewater treatment plant sector
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster collaborative working relationships
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain strong client relationships and successfully navigate negotiations
- Proficiency in project management software and tools to facilitate efficient project tracking and reporting
- Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
