Job Summary
Senior Reservoir Engineer responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable oil and gas reservoir engineering support. Works with operations to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, promotes new technology and services, supports risk management, and provides real-time technical support throughout the Sales and Product and Service Delivery process. Assists in developing technical job designs, evaluating new techniques, exploring value-added products, interacting with design/technical engineers to optimize designs, and contributing to FDPs and uncertainty management. Engages with universities and professional societies, contributes to technical publications, and stays current on new technologies, including AI/ML techniques, Petrel workflows, and DELFI environment capabilities. Performs technical evaluations of tenders, supports incident response, and collaborates across disciplines to create or update field development plans.
Required Qualifications
- Petroleum engineering Bachelor or master degree
- 8-10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry as a Reservoir Engineer
- English Advanced
- Solid technical background in Reservoir Engineering
- Advanced Proficient in PETREL-Intersect-Eclipse
- Skilled in Petrel Workflow Editor Programming
- Expertise in integrated Digital multidomain reservoir characterization workflows on prem and in DELFI environment
- Proficiency in AI/ML techniques
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in history matching
- Field development planning and uncertainty management
- Collaborative skills across disciplines for creating or updating FDPs
