Job Summary
Design and implement custom bioinformatics workflows for high-throughput data, performing large-scale genomic and transcriptomic analysis using Python, R, and HPC/cloud environments. Translate raw biological data into actionable insights to support scientific discovery and clinical development while publishing findings and contributing to white papers. Collaborate cross-functionally with wet lab researchers, biostatisticians, and software engineers to evaluate emerging computational tools and manage complex data integration across clinical and multi-omic sources.
Required Qualifications
- GMP / GLP / GxP experience
- Regulatory submission or validation exposure
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related discipline
- Experience with multi-omics data integration (e.g., proteomics, epigenomics)
- Familiarity with regulatory standards for genomic data (HIPAA)
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques for biological and genomic data
- Proficient with Linux/Unix systems, high-performance computing, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP)
- Strong skills in data visualization and statistical interpretation of biological datasets
Desired Qualifications
- Contributions to open-source bioinformatics software or tools are a plus
