Senior Research Executive-Observer

Job Summary
Design and deliver high-quality research projects from inception to delivery, managing medium-sized initiatives while contributing to larger, complex studies. Translate business challenges into effective research solutions and develop compelling insights that drive action for clients across government, academia, charities, and commercial sectors. Manage multiple projects and competing priorities, design and review research materials including questionnaires, and produce insightful reports and presentations tailored to client needs. Leverage proficiency in AI use to enhance research, analysis, and day-to-day business activities. Mentor junior colleagues and support new business activity through proposals and pitches. Work in a hybrid environment of three days per week in the office or with clients.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in quantitative market research, ideally within an agency, consultancy or client-facing environment
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
- Experience designing and reviewing research materials, including questionnaires
- Proven ability to analyse findings and produce insightful reports and presentations tailored to client needs
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in AI use and adoption to enhance research, analysis and day-to-day business activities
- Experience mentoring, coaching or supporting junior team members
- Knowledge of data analysis software such as SPSS, R or equivalent research tools
- Experience building and developing client relationships
- Ability to support new business activity through proposals and pitches
- Experience managing project budgets and contributing to commercial performance
