Job Summary
Lead and supervise research staff for SEIU campaigns and programs; recruit, train, evaluate, and support international and local research teams; develop research capacity, methods, and tools; collaborate with international unions on organizing and policy campaigns; provide policy and funding analysis; educate staff on policy and industry issues; work with employers and industry officials on industrial policy; travel and long hours required; office-based with potential field work as part of campaign support.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as labor relations, political science, sociology, business, economics, finance or pre-law or a combination of at least 5 years of relative experience and education that will allow for the development of research/campaign support which support SEIU goals and objectives.
