Job Summary
Senior Research Associate to conduct literature reviews, develop study protocols, and contribute to the design and execution of studies focused on patient-centered outcomes. Responsibilities include literature reviews, developing protocols and statistical analysis plans, preparing ethical documentation, recruiting and interviewing participants, data analysis, and the reporting of study findings as well as creating conference abstracts/posters and journal manuscripts. The role requires involvement in multiple projects, strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work within an international team (UK/US). The position is hybrid (office/home) based in Bollington, England, with periodic travel; candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate/postgraduate degree in health psychology, psychology, psychological research methods, sociology, or life sciences (BSc, MSc or similar)
- 1.5-2 years work experience in related research or health setting or consultancy
- knowledge and experience of literature review methodology
- qualitative/quantitative analysis and research design including data collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination
- Fluency in Microsoft Office packages
- strong organisational skills, self-motivation, attention to detail
