Job Summary
Conduct independent and collaborative research in Men's Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, leading and delivering projects including data analysis, modelling, and systematic reviews across epidemiological, qualitative, and quantitative studies. Manage two direct reports while supporting product rollout, stakeholder collaboration, and funding opportunities within the Workplace Mental Health Research Program. This fixed-term role reports to a Senior Lecturer at the Black Dog Institute, a global leader in translational mental health research, and focuses on improving understanding of suicide risk and enhancing engagement for intervention.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in psychology, psychiatry, public health or related discipline
- Full rights to work in Australia
- Track record of significant involvement in mental health or suicide prevention research
- Experience leading participant recruitment
- Experience conducting ethics submissions
- Experience conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses
- Experience designing and implementing quantitative and qualitative research projects
- Demonstrated track record in research with outcomes of high quality and high impact
- High level communication skills
- Ability to network effectively and interact with a diverse range of students and staff
