Job Summary
Design and execute molecular biology experiments including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, cloning, plasmid construction, sequencing analysis, and gene expression studies. Perform microbial genetic engineering using CRISPR/Cas systems, homologous recombination, and transformation to construct and characterize recombinant strains in bacterial and fungal hosts. Develop gene expression cassettes and genome editing strategies while maintaining accurate laboratory records and ensuring data integrity. Independently analyze experimental data using statistical and bioinformatics tools, troubleshoot challenges, and improve SOPs and research protocols. Requires a Master's degree in molecular biology or related field with 2+ years of research experience; fluent in English. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, or a related scientific discipline
- 2+ years of relevant research experience
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of industrial or academic research experience
- Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques and microbial strain engineering
- Experience with cloning, plasmid construction, PCR, DNA assembly, and sequencing analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results within agreed timelines
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Demonstrates strong scientific curiosity and self-motivation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
