Job Summary
Join the Analytical, Formulation and Stability (AFS) Department as a Senior Research Associate, responsible for executing experimental protocols and performing data analysis in the analytical laboratories. Key responsibilities include conducting testing on drug substance and formulation samples using bio-analytical techniques, maintaining laboratory instruments, documenting findings in lab notebooks, and adhering to safety requirements. Candidates should have a degree in chemistry or a related field with relevant experience and skills in data interpretation and mathematical analysis. Commitment to continuous learning and teamwork is essential.
Required Qualifications
- B.A or B.S. degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related area (or equivalent training) and 3-5 years of experience
- Master's degree and 2-4 years of experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
- Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations
