Job Summary
Design, optimize, and execute experiments using primary immune cells and tissues isolated from human, mouse, or cynomolgus monkey sources. Perform routine compound profiling via Meso Scale Discovery, ELISA, Western blot, Simple Western, flow cytometry, and qPCR assays. Process ex vivo mouse tissue including spleen, bone marrow, and lymph nodes while maintaining detailed electronic lab notebook records. This six-month contract supports Monte Rosa Therapeutics' Immunology and Preclinical Pharmacology team in developing molecular glue degraders for inflammatory diseases.
Required Qualifications
- MS or PhD equivalent in Immunology or Cell Biology
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in I&I drug discovery research in a pharmaceutical setting
- Extensive experience handling whole blood, primary immune cells and tissue
- Expertise in protein detection/quantitation methodology (e.g., MSD, ELISA, Western blotting, Jess)
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- High proficiency with GraphPad Prism
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with clinical samples
- Flow cytometry expertise
- Experience with FlowJo
